DOLTONE HOUSE MARCONI

Hillmorr are proud to create the custom wallpapers for The Doltone House newest establishment - The Doltone House Marconi, located in Sydney’s South West.

Raw materiality matched with exposed unpolished inner workings, the Elettra event space is a modern interpretation of tonality and textures. The culmination of polished, stained concrete floors and black open plenum ceiling makes a welcome comeback to the narrative of the event space. Textured light charcoal concrete walls with speckled gold create a tactile and nuance feel inside the chic event space. Completely pared back, the interiors draw on the direct visual reference of the original industrial aesthetic.

Hillmorr was tasked to create and supply high-performance commercial grade wallpaper for the event space. Using the 3d renders as inspiration, Hillmorr developed a highly textured concrete looking design, embellished with copper and gold speckles and smudges in line with the exposed industrial feel, adding to the effortlessly glamorous feel of the space. The 451 sqm was created and produced to minimise noticeable repeats, ensuring a continuous finish that imitates the random nature of an exposed concrete wall.

Our LINEN vinyl wallcovering was selected as the substrate for this project. Chosen for it’s robustness, deep-embossing and textured look and feel. Furthermore, like all our substrates is FR compliant and cleanable, suitable for high-traffic areas.
